Finally had the chance to check out this park (South East of Hwy7 & McCowan), the main entrance is along McCowan south of Hwy 7 and North of Camp Chimo (which can also access the park). Quite a nice park, really well managed from the looks of it. The park is open until 7pm. Lots of picnic tables, quiet, clean as it has plenty of containers for waste unlike Milliken Park which can be a bit busy and littered, although the catfish, koi, ducks/geese and muskrat (if you're lucky) at Milliken park are cool. Anyways if you're looking for a nice picnic place in the area, I'd recommend Milne Park.  From Hwy & & Markham Rd, you can access the dam and fish ladder by car, but from the main entrance you'll have to walk half the length of the park to get to the dam.

Just in case people didnt know. This park plays hosts to a Canada Day fireworks show (i think every year). Hope some of you were able to catch it.  However, if you have to walk to the park from some near by location or take the shuttle they set up from Markville mall since they dont allow cars in the park during the show.
